Description
The HOTA D6 Ultra is a powerful dual-channel charger that supports 1–6S LiPo batteries and a broad range of other battery chemistries. Its integrated GaN power supply delivers up to 300W from a standard mains socket, offering fast, compact performance. For field use the unit accepts DC input via an XT60 connector from 6.5–30V. When supplied with DC above 24V the charger can deliver up to 325W per channel, or 650W combined.
Two main XT60 outputs provide convenient battery charging and the top panel also includes a USB-A 5V/2.1A port and a wireless charging pad for accessories. The D6 Ultra supports NiCd, NiMH, LiPo, Li-Ion, LiHV and other common cell chemistries. Charging parameters are set using a rotary dial and push button, while all key data is shown on a bright 2.8in colour screen.
In addition to charging, the unit offers discharging functionality. Internal discharge is limited to 15W per channel, but by using an external load the charger can discharge up to 350W per channel for faster battery conditioning or testing.
