When I set out to create a bind and fly version of the AOS 5 V2 I had a vision to combine the latest and greatest technology into the ultimate FPV freestyle machine. This is the result. – Chris Rosser, AOS RC
Frame: The AOS 5 V2 has been designed to deliver the ultimate freestyle flight experience. The unique arm geometry has been refined through topology optimization to deliver maximum strength and stiffness for minimum weight. The same technology is used to optimize aircraft, satellites and race cars.
Motors: Exhilarating speed, silky smooth flight after flight. iFlight’s XING2 2207 motors provide power and durability with a 7075 Aluminium unibell design, 5mm titanium shaft, Japanese NSK bearings, N52H center slotted arc magnets, and an integrated o-ring for bearing protection.
Electronics: Blazing fast with less filter delay for a more locked-in flight feel. The F7 flight controller takes maximum advantage of the vibration performance of the frame with a custom filter tune to reduce latency and improve propwash handling. With OSR4 mode enabled in BF4.3 the BMI270 gyro delivers latency and noise performance that matches or exceeds that of the MPU6000. A BLHeli32 ESC smoothly delivers power to the motors and the massive 55A rating ensures the motors will have all the power they could ever need.
